Crashed ship spawning exploit

How to spawn many crashed ships on a single planet exploit in No Man's Sky!

A quick tip on how to farm crashed ships in order to maximize the ships slots.
  1. Find a planet with a dense amount of bases.
  2. Find the base "transmissions tower" that has a big antenna on the top. This building is only found on GEK Planets, please note.
  3. Use the terminal inside to spawn crashed ships after you successfully solve the math puzzle.
  4. Keep reusing the terminal over and over until many way points are up leading to crashed ships.
  5. Go to the way points and switch to the higher slot ships. Make sure to dissemble all ship components from your current in order to fix broken stuff more easily.
  6.  Repeat until your maxed out slots at 48 and have a ship design that you prefer.

Note this is how the Korvax Transmission Tower looks like, it appears the trigger isn't bugged out on this building. You can still use it to find crashed ships, but only one per find.

Note this is how the Vy'keen Transmission Tower looks like, it appears the trigger isn't bugged out on this building. You can still use it to find crashed ships, but only one per find.

Ship Changing exploits

Two ship related exploits, one revolting around the cosmetic look and the other with upgrading slots but keeping previous ship cosmetic.

So you see a cool looking ship coming into the station docking area and want to switch your ship's look into that one.  Here is how to switch the look but keep everything else.
  • Step 1
    • Go to a space station, exit your ship, this will cause a save point to happen.
  • Step 2
    • Watch for new ships to come in that you like cosmetically over your current look.
  • Step 3
    • Transfer your inventory, break down all modules that you currently have and buy the new ship from the NPC AI.
  • Step 4
    • Reload from the last save point. All previous money, resources, weapons etc will be restored but your old ship will look at the new one you just bought.
If you see a ship that has bigger inventory space but looks ugly and you prefer to keep your ship's current look follow these steps:
  • Step 1
    • Go to a space station, exit your ship, save point created.
  • Step 2
    • Wait for new ships to come in, check to see if they have more inventory slots.
  • Step 3
    • Buy the New ship that has more inventory slots, jump into it to create a new save point.
    • Your previous ship should still be docked but listed as abandoned.
  • Step 4
    • Trade the new ship for the abandoned one.
  • Step 5
    • Reload from recent save point and you should have the new ship's loadout and slots but with previous ships look.

Duping possible with save game and graves

New duping exploit using previous saves and grave markers found.

Intel is reporting many exploits using previous save games and the grave mechanic for No Man's Sky.  Basically when you die during any point in the game, all your inventory drops down and its marked with a grave symbol. Reloading the game from the last save point restores your inventory and keeps the grave location which enables you do loot everything you dropped from dying.

How to do the exploit yourself is pretty easy, follow these steps:
  • Step 1
    • Create a save point, either in a station or at a outpost.
  •  Step 2
    • Load up your inventory with valuable items, then purposely die near a station or a outpost.
  • Step 3
    • Reload from your save point.
  •  Step 4
    • Go your grave market and loot items, you should now have duplicate inventory.

Station Trade exploit

How to use a busy trade space station to farm a massive amount of credits in a short time span!

First task is to go to a system with a space station that is very busy with trader traffic. You can figure this out by seeing trade lanes in space or by docking into the station and observing incoming ships.

Once that is done, go to the galactic market terminal and see what items are marked with a star .

For example here is a dynamic resonator that has a +97.5% Galactic Avg.

Next go to the docking area and see what the random NPC traders are offering to sell. Majority of the time they will be selling star marked items at the regular price. Just buy up all that you can from the various incoming AI and then sell to the galactic market.

Here is one of the traders selling a dynamic resonator sell price screen.

So your buying for 32,582 and selling for 54,304 which nets you 21,722 profit per unit.

Rinse and repeat its just that simple.

Learning words exploit

No Man's Sky Language Exploit via NPC conversation cycling.

Some NPC Traders offer to teach you a new word for their faction. Look for these guys hanging around station areas.

The cost to start the interaction is 20 carbon. Carbon is very easy to obtain and all you would have to do is continue to repeat the interaction with the NPC and cycle new word requests.

What makes this even more exploitable is that sometimes they will offer to give you free fuel which is typically carbon.

You would need a high standing with the faction to unlock some of these options though.

Make sure to pay attention to offers by all NPCs, and cycle them because this may lead to more similar types of exploits.

Signal Towers exploit

Signal Scanner Towers are reuseable, something many people are overlooking.

This is going to be the best starter tip you can get for No Man's Sky basically revolving around Signal Scanner Towers.

Find one and keep using it over and over to spawn way points to various sites. Use transmission option to locate crashed ships and drop pods. Bypass chips are super easy to make, create a bunch of them and go at it with these scanners.

Drop Pods will give you backpack inventory slots.

Crashed Ships may be upgrades to your current ship.
