Ship Changing exploits

Two ship related exploits, one revolting around the cosmetic look and the other with upgrading slots but keeping previous ship cosmetic.

So you see a cool looking ship coming into the station docking area and want to switch your ship's look into that one.  Here is how to switch the look but keep everything else.

• Step 1
  
  • Go to a space station, exit your ship, this will cause a save point to happen.
• Step 2
  
  • Watch for new ships to come in that you like cosmetically over your current look.
• Step 3
  
  • Transfer your inventory, break down all modules that you currently have and buy the new ship from the NPC AI.
• Step 4
  
  • Reload from the last save point. All previous money, resources, weapons etc will be restored but your old ship will look at the new one you just bought.

If you see a ship that has bigger inventory space but looks ugly and you prefer to keep your ship's current look follow these steps:

• Step 1
  
  • Go to a space station, exit your ship, save point created.
• Step 2
  
  • Wait for new ships to come in, check to see if they have more inventory slots.
• Step 3
  
  • Buy the New ship that has more inventory slots, jump into it to create a new save point.
  • Your previous ship should still be docked but listed as abandoned.
• Step 4
  
  • Trade the new ship for the abandoned one.
• Step 5
  
  • Reload from recent save point and you should have the new ship's loadout and slots but with previous ships look.
